Haiti Photos

In March of 2012, I went to the beautiful, life-changing country of Haiti. These are the faces that changed me. I miss every single one.

The language barrier was more difficult than I thought. This picture was a result of me gesturing for this cutie to smile, which he took to mean that I wanted him to keep his hands by his face. Precious.

Do you see this baby's hands? Completely white. That's because this sweetheart pushed rocks onto my shovel so I didn't have to work a hard. Humbled.

The cutie smiling is Joel. Pronounced, "Jo-Ell.

These women amaze me.

Stephen and his little brother with the polaroids I took of them.

Our translator, Jonathan's sons.

This sweetheart called Tim (the man in the hat) "Papa" the whole time we were there.

Tim and our little Haitian shadow.

These kids had never seen a polaroid before.

Sweet faces.

Just got out of school. Precious

Not too keen on smiling, these boys.

Faces that changed my life and perspective.
